Horea Pascu is a music publisher, music supervisor, composer and founder of Blue Island Music, one of Romania’s leading production music sub-publishing companies. His company supervises the music in hundreds of TV adverts every year, and provides music for various TV shows and feature films.

Horea has been in the music business for more than 20 years, starting out as a composer. He produced music for many pop artists and scored dozens of TV adverts before turning to music supervision and music publishing.

Horea’s educational backgound includes a degree in Sound Engineering and Video Editing in Romania’s Film University (UNATC). Being very involved in the international music industry, he was elected in 2018 as a member of the board in IPMG.

Horea is also involved in the creation of the first Romanian production music library distributed internationally, ‘In Transylvania’, with the aim of showcasing the Romanian traditional music aswell as the local talents to the global market.
