She began working in music publishing  in 1988 alongside David Séchan at Mino Music, the publishing company  of Renaud, French author-composer and performer.

In 1994, she participated in the creation of Encore Merci Publishing, of which she became a partner and then general manager, a position she kept when the company was sold to BAM Music in June 2022. The catalog consists mainly of production music.

Juliette Metz created, with Edwin Cox (West One Music Group) the Production Music Committee within ICMP now called IPMG.

President of the French Music Publishers Association (CSDEM) since 2016, she signed the code of good practices for the publishing of musical works, the founding text between authors, composers and publishers in France.

Juliette Metz was a mentor within MEWEM, a female mentoring program for professionals in the music industry, for 4 years and is now Secretary of the Association which manages the program.

She has been elected at the board of Sacem in June 2022.
